¿Dónde vas a trabajar?

Our client is a large organisation within the insurance sector. This role will be based in their HUB in Madrid, reporting at an international level.

Descripción

  • Further development and updating of the underwriting governance framework in close collaboration with the Group Chief Underwriting Officer.
  • Promoting the exchange of experience within the group, including organising and conducting underwriting workshops and training courses.
  • Planning and conducting Technical Underwriting Reviews in the market units.
  • Regular exchange with local underwriting managers and specialists and other group functions.
  • Supporting market units in the further development of underwriting standards and processes
  • Processing referral cases for the Group Underwriting Committee.
  • Observing trends and innovations in underwriting.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

  • Many years of experience as senior underwriter in direct Non-Life insurance (retail or commercial property).
  • Experienced in underwriting governance and portfolio management topics.
  • Strong leadership personality with experience in functional and/or line management.
  • Enjoy working in an international environment and experienced in the interaction between group functions and market units.
  • Team Player with a strong results-orientated mindset.
  • Seniority and confidence in appearance, convincing communication skills, and experience in stakeholder management.
  • Fluent in English and good knowledge in German, Spanish or French.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe up to 25%.
