Our client is an MGA's that provides services to brokers and policyholders in Spain and Portugal.

Descripción

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end claims operations across all product lines, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and fair claims assessment and settlement in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor claims performance through key KPIs (e.g., leakage, settlement times, reserves, customer satisfaction) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks, insurer mandates, and delegated authority agreements, supporting audit readiness.
  • Manage relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and external partners, ensuring performance against SLAs and service standards.
  • Control claims costs, reserves, and large loss developments, contributing to financial reporting and portfolio profitability.
  • Enhance customer experience by ensuring transparent communication and effective handling of complex or escalated claims.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the claims team, promoting a culture of accountability and service excellence.
  • Provide claims insights to underwriting, identifying trends, emerging risks, and supporting product and portfolio improvement strategies.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

  • 5-10+ years of claims management experience within insurance, MGA's, or broker environments.
  • Strong understanding of delegated authority claims handling.
  • Experience managing TPAs and external claims vendors.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with complex claims and operational leadership.
