This position sits within a newly created FP&A function in a European industrial environment and plays a key role in building and structuring financial reporting and processes, with a strong focus on production and operational data.The role combines data analysis, reporting development and finance process transformation, acting as a bridge between operations, finance and IT.

¿Dónde vas a trabajar?

A European industrial group in the agri-food sector, currently integrating following a recent acquisition, is building its new FP&A team in Madrid. The team will provide direct business support and report to the group's international CFO

Descripción



  • Develop, maintain and enhance financial reporting related to production, sales and industrial costs, ensuring data is relevant for business decision-making.


  • Analyze cost flows, operational drivers and KPIs, working closely with production and business teams to understand how data is generated and used.


  • Work with ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics or similar) to extract and structure financial and operational data.


  • Collaborate with IT or data teams to define data extraction logic, including preparing specifications for ETL processes when needed.


  • Build and validate reports and dashboards (Power BI or similar tools), ensuring usability and consistency for business stakeholders.


  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with operations, finance and controlling teams to gather requirements and align on reporting needs.


  • Support the definition, standardization and improvement of FP&A and reporting processes across the organization.


  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and traceability of financial data reported to the group.


  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives in a post-acquisition environment.


  • Be present at production sites when needed, especially during the initial phase of the role.


¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

    • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
    • Proven experience in data analysis and financial reporting development.
    • Hands-on experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics or similar).
    • Experience using BI tools (Power BI preferred) for building or validating reports.
    • Exposure to data extraction processes (ETL), either hands-on or defining requirements for IT teams.
    • Background in industrial or manufacturing environments (production, sales, cost controlling or similar is highly valued).
    • Strong ability to work cross-functionally with business and operations teams.
    • Experience in process improvement, transformation or finance PMO environments is a plus.
    • Fluent English.
