The role provides governance over the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of internal controls, in alignment with group standards, regulatory expectations, and local business requirements.The role acts as the primary internal control lead within the business and serves as a trusted partner to local management and corporate functions. It plays a key role in strengthening risk awareness, promoting accountability, and ensuring the reliability of the overall control environment.Functions and Responsibilities:Implement and maintain a robust internal control framework aligned with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.Provide guidance to local management on internal control, risk mitigation, and governance matters, enabling informed and effective decision-making.Follow up on the remediation of control deficiencies and process weaknesses.Ensure compliance with internal control requirements related to financial reporting, operational processes, and applicable laws and regulations.Coordinate risk and control assessments, management testing activities, remediation tracking, and periodic control reporting.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance control effectiveness, standardization, and efficiency across the business and support functions.Promote a strong internal control culture across the business.Provide management with regular updates and clear reporting on the status of the internal control environment, key deficiencies, and remediation progress.¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related fieldLanguages: Fluent in English and Spanish.
