Descripción



  • Commercial Leadership & Growth
    • Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic accounts across PTA and PIA, ensuring profitable and sustainable growth.
    • Identify and lead new business development opportunities across applications and geographies.
    • Define and execute account strategies, including pricing, volume allocation, and contract negotiation.



    Strategic Market Development

    • Analyse industry dynamics, feedstock evolution, and competitive landscape to anticipate market trends.
    • Lead the development of commercial strategies to increase market share and optimize margins.
    • Provide actionable market intelligence to support business decision-making at management level.



    Customer Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships at senior level within key customer organizations.
    • Position the company as a preferred and reliable partner through value-driven engagement.



    Cross-functional Leadership

    • Coordinate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and customer service to ensure high service levels and optimized supply solutions.
    • Act as a key interface between commercial and operational teams, ensuring alignment on priorities.



    Innovation & Business Development

    • Identify and promote new applications, product opportunities, and market segments aligned with PIA/PTA capabilities.
    • Support diversification of the portfolio through proactive opportunity scouting.



    Compliance & Governance

    • Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations, competition law, and internal policies.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

Education

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification is highly valued



Professional Experience

  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the chemical / polyester industry
  • Proven track record in:
    • Managing international accounts
    • Negotiating complex commercial agreements
    • Delivering profitable growth in volatile market environments

  • Strong strategic thinking and market understanding
  • Advanced negotiation and influencing skills at senior level
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High level of ownership, autonomy, and results orientation
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix and multicultural organization



Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel internationally (~50%)
  • Fluency in English is required; additional European languages (especially Spanish) are a plus
  • Must be eligible to work in the EU and travel globally without restrictions
