Europrop International GmbH (EPI) is responsible for the TP400-D6 turboprop engine’s design, development, manufacturing and support. Produced to power the Airbus A400M Military Transport Aircraft built by Airbus Defence and Space, the TP400-D6 is the most powerful engine in production.

Consisting of a European collaboration programme between ITP, MTU Aero Engines, Rolls-Royce and Safran Aircraft Engines, Europrop International combines the best of Europe’s aerospace companies’ resources and expertise. Created in 2002, EPI is based in Munich and has a liaison office in Madrid.

Our job offer is for our Madrid offices, located at a nice business park in San Fernando de Henares with restaurants, open green spaces, bank, post office, gym, private parking, public transport and shuttle service to and from different areas of Madrid.

Employment Terms and Benefits

Contract type: Permanent employment contract with a six-month probationary period.

  • Annual salary review: Subject to CPI adjustments and individual performance.
  • Meal Voucher Scheme (Cheque Gourmet):
    • Option 1: €11 per working day (tax-free, non-cumulative).
    • Option 2: €14 per working day (taxable, cumulative).
    • This benefit is provided in addition to the gross annual salary. Employees may change their selected option at the end of each calendar year.
  • Salary payments: 14 payments per year (12 monthly salary payments plus two additional payments in July and December). Alternatively, the annual salary may be distributed over 12 monthly payments if preferred.
  • Working hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day).
  • Flexible working hours: Start time from 7:00 a.m., with corresponding finish times from 4:00 p.m.
  • Overtime compensation: Overtime hours are credited to a time-off-in-lieu (TOIL) bank.
  • Remote working: Up to 110 days per year (maximum of three days per week), including the possibility of working remotely for up to two consecutive full weeks per year.
  • Annual leave: 25 working days, plus Easter, Christmas, and all national and local public holiday bridge days.
