Repporting to Head of Practice and Project Manager (on project), the candidate will develop the following funtions:
- The Technical Lead (TL) is build and delivery focussed and provides pragmatic technical guidance to the development team ensuring that the code developed is of high quality and technical risks are estimated.
- The TL will work closely with Project Managers and Business Analysts to remove ambiguity from requirements.
- He/ she will monitor and shape the day-to-day progression of development, troubleshoot, provide guidance, coding (20% to 60% of the time) as well as ensuring sufficient documentation (e.g. technical design; how to guide etc) is created for functionality developed by the team
Perfil buscado (h/m)
Degree-level qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Candidates will have at least 2 years experience and key technical skills should include:
Continuous Integration: Maven; Jenkins; Artefactory/Nexus; GitHub
Design: "Gang of Four¡" patterns and SOLID principles
Testing: Unit Testing, TDD, integration tests
Non-functional requirement definition
Content data modelling (e.g. XSD, ERD, RDF/Graph models)
Architecture (e.g. EIP and ACID awareness)
Performance and resilience oriented development
SQL, and NoSQL query languages
Able to nurture, coach, and support dev teams.
Team player, proactive and able to cope successfully under pressure and with shifting priorities
Excellent collaborator and a natural leader
Effective communicator at all levels
Personable, adaptable and creative
