We are looking for a motivated and skilled Process Development Scientist. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the final stages of development, market launch, and ongoing improvement of Facer technology. This position also involves participation in both national and international public funded projects, contributing to the mission of advancing cell therapy technologies.

Descripción

  • Lead and contribute to the development and optimization of processes for the Facer technology development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare application notes for market launch and post-launch process improvements.
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate process optimisation, scale-up feasibility, and integration into manufacturing.
  • Participate in writing and reviewing scientific and technical documentation including SOPs.
  • Engage in project management activities, ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
  • Actively contribute to national and international publicly funded projects, representing the Company in scientific and industry forums.
  • Supervise and mentor two engineers and lab technician.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

  • Minimum of a BSc degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in process development, preferably in the biotechnology or medical device industry.
  • Proven experience in contributing to the development and improvement of biotechnological products or technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate on projects involving multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proficiency in data analysis and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English and Spanish), with the ability to effectively communicate scientific and technical information.
