¿Dónde vas a trabajar?

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist with experience in the banking sector, who possesses a deep understanding of the impact that personnel management and benefits have on payroll, as well as on social security contributions and taxes, in addition to having a solid knowledge of labor legislation. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in Workday and experience in SAP parameterization, as well as analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of PowerBI to implement quality controls and precision in the payroll process will be highly valued. A strong vision of end-to-end processes is required, along with a genuine concern for employee experience and the ability to lead transformations with enthusiasm, proactivity, high adaptability, and a desire for change. Additionally, fluency in English is necessary.

¿Qué harás en tu nuevo puesto?

  • Manage payroll processes comprehensively within the banking sector, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance in line with current labor legislation. Specifically:
    • Payroll: Collecting data (terminations, commissions, incentives, absences, delays, adjustments, etc.), processing, reviewing, and paying all company payrolls. Maintaining salary and payroll data for salary increases, revisions, archiving, etc.
    • Handling incidents, doubts, and queries from workers: Addressing workers' requests by responding to their doubts about the collective agreement, law, payroll, etc., and providing relevant documentation, payroll certificates, employment relationship certificates, workplace certificates, seniority in the company, etc.
    • Processing payroll advances and loans: Informing employees about the possibilities of advances and loans according to the collective agreement, processing them, maintaining them, paying them on time, and carrying out the necessary actions for their reflection in the payroll.
    • Managing the hiring and termination of workers: Welcoming new employees to the bank, including contract signing, social security registration, and initial guidance on daily life matters related to the bank. Coordinating necessary actions for terminations, preparing necessary documentation (as per cases), requesting settlements from the consultancy and reviewing them, cancelling social security registrations, etc. Assisting in employee terminations for "administrative" explanations.
    • Providing administrative support in the bank's annual salary increases and bonuses process. Maintaining and archiving data, calculating workdays, prorations, etc. Verifying and supervising the correct application of new data by the consultancy.
  • Effectively utilize Workday and SAP platforms to carry out parameterization and maintain accurate and updated records.
  • Implement quality controls and precision in the payroll process using tools such as Excel and preferably PowerBI.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvements in payroll processes, always maintaining a focus on employee experience.
  • Collaborate closely with different departments to align payroll processes with organizational objectives.
  • Act as the main point of contact for queries and concerns related to payroll, demonstrating a high level of customer service.
  • Stay updated on best practices and regulations in the banking sector related to payroll and benefits.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or related field.
  • Proven previous experience in payroll management within the banking sector, with a solid knowledge of labor legislation.
  • Deep understanding of the impact of benefits on payroll, as well as social security contributions and taxes.
  • Proficiency in SAP parameterization and experience using Workday.
  • Analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel, preferably with knowledge of PowerBI.
  • Vision of end-to-end processes and ability to lead transformations.
  • Focus on employee experience and genuine concern for their well-being.
  • Proactivity, enthusiasm, high adaptability, and a desire for change.
