Descripción
The successful candidate will have now, or have the ability quickly to develop:
Leadership and project management skills to identify and categorize the company's IP.
Legal and technological acumen to then determine and advise how best to protect the IP, such as by patent, trade secret, trademark, or other means.
Strategize with the businesses, and especially with engineering and marketing, on an overall IP strategic vision, the interpersonal skills to gain support for that vision, and then formulate a plan.
Have the project management skills to make sure the plan is executed, followed, and realized -- all with the right metrics to achieve and demonstrate success.
Drafting and negotiation of contracts and licenses related to intellectual property in all areas, both from the point of view of the company as licensor or licensee; Analytical and Strategic thinking; Ability to integrate in a large, international organization; ability to identify risks and mitigating alternatives; Organization skills; ability to manage several projects at the same time; Commitment and responsibility; Initiative/proactivity/creativity; Achievement/objective/solutions-oriented mindset.
Other activitiesRelations with patent and trademark agents and collaboration in the preparation and filing of applications with the corresponding engineering offices; Preparation, monitoring and coordination of intellectual/industrial property claim procedures; Collaboration with other areas in the group's business development projects and any kind of agreements relating IP matters; Legal advice on copyright and patent protection; Definition of the IP protection strategy in collaboration with the engineering area.

Perfil Buscado (H/M/D)
Bachelor degree in Law
Master's degree in commercial law desirable
Deep knowledge and experience of IP and practices within common law jurisdictions
Years of experience a minimum of 10 years in legal and commercial contracts, preferably with minimum 5 years of working in the industrial sector.
Fluency in English
