Procurement Manager - Automotive

Reporting to the Group Purchasing Director, the main functions will be:

• Procurement market analysis (suppliers, technologies) developing the strategy in alignment with Industrial Engineering and plants
• Team management and proactive supervision of all the procurement operations on his responsibility (+20MM€)
• Supplier management (supplier portfolio improvement, optimization of payment terms, delivery conditions, etc.), having to process complaint cases and manage the supplier portfolio database
• Initiate pre-visits and audits of suppliers to ensure that they meet the company's requirements
• Collaboration with raw material buyers, EI and plant (e.g. working group, emergency action plans, etc.)
• Execution of tenders (planning according to project schedule) based on technical documentations in accordance with customer requirements and commodity alignment for OEM projects, including procurement of project documentation
• Request for quotation, verification and negotiation as well as supplier selection in collaboration with the technical team and the project team, through price comparison and other conditions
• Support and identify cost optimization measures in the area of tooling, Peripherals & Equipment
• Procurement management (RFQs, calculations and estimates) and support to the sales team for cost evaluation
