Responsible for the global commodity strategy and supply base development

Responsible to link the business strategy to the continual development of the commodity strategy

Educate Globally Commodity understanding with specialist buyers so as to drive alignment and transparency Support and Communicate Purchasing Roles and Responsibility needs and requirements in the region Supply Chain Risk Management

Align Contract (templates) and review exception requests with business strategy and ISC strategy Works on strategic partnership development and investigates Risk Sharing Aspects

Ensure and Drive cost reduction activities that are in align with the commodity strategy and development of the supplier

Provides alternative solutions to Cross-functional teams in development

Establish should cost development in the commodity where applicable, and transfer of best practices/processes in the commodity supply base

Drive Total Cost ownership understanding within the business

Provide " Escalated" support where required in region and communication with commodity director (s) Represent ISC-Purchasing and assist in the regional coordination if continuous improvement; dealing with supply base issues

Share / communicate best practices and ISC connection / development globally

Learn, embrace and assist in driving innovations and lean methodologies throughout the supply chain Drive should cost development in the commodity where applicable
