This role has great exposure to both internal and external stakeholders. The primary responsibility will be the delivery of customer and category development plans for our Retail channel, based on your deep understanding of the category, shopper and customer needs: defining the category opportunity; designing the tools to deliver against it; delivering the results.

Leading the team also means having a strong voice internally and finding alignment between commercial and marketing functions, plus inspiring the team members to deliver their best version.

  • Lead and manage the day to day activities of the CCD team
  • Diagnose the root causes of category and players performance
  • Identify top KPIs and define concrete targets
  • Review, improve and implement the mid-and long-term category and customer strategy
  • Develop the strategy and annual plan for each category with regard to recommended pricing, promotion (Net Revenue Management), distribution (Must Have Assortment) and trade marketing activation
  • Develop and drive together with marketing the product initiatives strengthening the core and driving on-top innovation
  • Manage and track CCD budgets and ensure effective use
  • Work closely with the company's sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

  • EU Working Permit / EU residence
  • University degree in economics/business (trade marketing is a plus)
  • Minimum of 6+ years of work experience in Customer/Category Management, Key Accounting or similar position in FMCG
  • Previous experience in People management
  • Knowledge of P&L and sales indicators
  • Sector: Blue Chip FMCG or Grocery Retail background
  • Thorough understanding of Spanish retailer market
  • High level of Spanish and English language
  • Strong analytical ability and good quantitative understanding
  • Confident with presentation situations, with good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English
  • Strong time management & ability to deal with pressure
