Accounting and Reporting

• Control and validation of monthly accounting closing activities in accordance with local standards, group procedures and the established calendar.
• Determining the additions and deferrals of monthly costs accounted for by the Share Service or locally, according to the cost specialisation principle.
• Monitoring and validation of the accounting of supplier invoices by the Shared Service.
• Monitoring and control of asset accounting in accordance with National standards.
• Ensure intercompany financial reports to the group in accordance with local standards, internal control procedures and the established schedule.
• Control and validation of account reconciliations prepared by the Shared Service.
• Perform the analytical review of the balance sheet accounts and the reconciliation accounts not in scope of share services.
• Perform the monthly accounting report to the group according with standards and deadlines.
• Prepare reports for national entities.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures in the Financial area.
• Key user of financial accounting tools.
• Monitoring and support in all accounting and reporting activities by the Share Service.
• Participate in projects in the Financial area.
• Ensuring proper reporting of the statutory accounts (P&L, BS, supporting information) according with the Spanish standards.
• Assure relationship with selected external provider for all transactional activities.
• Manage relationship with external auditors.

Tax & Legal

• Control and validation of VAT accounting, prepare and review the files to external tax advisor.
• Control and validate the legal and tax information to be sent to the external tax advisor in order to fulfil with the tax obligations.
• Control the payments of tax authorities in due time.
• Coordinate the processing of tax returns with the external advisors.

Credit Control & Treasury

• Local support to the credit control and treasury of Spain.
• Local support for accounts receivable and factoring company.
