International Technology Company based in Madrid, with experience in application-specific cameras and vision systems in rugged and certifiable design. they offer innovative vision solutions for renowned customers around the world. Our client has founded a new site in Madrid, Spain, in immediate vicinity to some of its most important customers. We are lookng for a Head of Spain.

The primary duties and responsibilities of the new Head include:
- Establishing and leading the client in Spain site in Madrid with a target size of eight employees in its initial state
- Establishing and maintaining engineering and product service businesses to support the mission
- Maintaining excellent relations with external stakeholders, in particular in the aviation industry
- Developing an efficient and effective organizational structure to ensure cost effective delivery
- In close cooperation with the headquarters, delivering product development projects according to the V model as well as aviation and military standards.
- Product ownership, sustaining engineering and servicing for in-market products
- Building a local network of suppliers and steering external production
- Checking the technical and commercial feasibility of customer requests
- Providing timely strategic, operational, and reporting information to the headquarters, and implementing its decisions
- Steering, motivating and growing the team
Perfil Buscado (H/M/D)
- A higher technical degree
- Further education in Business Administration, Economics, Management or similar is a plus
- Strong leadership towards the achievement of the company's strategy, objectives and operational goals
- An authentic leader with excellent communication and people-management skills
- Proven experience in product development and/or engineering services
- Working knowledge of aviation and military standards
- A viable network in the local aviation industry is a plus
- Result driven and highly committed person combining customer orientation, business acumen and personal integrity
- Spanish: business fluent,
-English: very good business and technical English (excellent communication skills),
-German: basic knowledge is a plus
