Head of Global Material Planning and Supply Management

In this key leadership position with Corporate reporting, you will be responsible for ensuring the global availability of spare parts to supply the steadily growing fleet of wind turbines in Nordex Service Business Unit.

• Management responsibility for an intercultural team of around 20 people, thereof 2 "group leads" as "direct reports", located in Spain and Germany
• Balancing spare parts demands and availability through accurate and timely ordering, constant information exchange between all internal and external parties involved as well as proactively initiating mitigation actions in case of potential supply shortages
• Optimization of central and local stocks by incorporating and continuously improving the overall material requirements planning (MRP) and global order management in SAP
• Comprehensive supplier management through monitoring and optimization of reliability, quality and costs for materials and logistics
• Acting as focal point for the spare parts supply of all Major Component exchanges and management of a centralized pool of Service tools
• Participating in tenders for the supply of spare parts in close cooperation with the strategic procurement department
• Conception and regular collection of suitable KPIs for transparent control of the department
