As a Global Expert Chemical Engineering you will act as subject matter expert in Chemical Engineering. You will be part of the Center of Excellence CAPEX and you will drive design, innovation and standardization for our core manufacturing equipment. This is a senior process engineering position: You will be our technical expert and you will ensure knowledge transfer by leading the expert network.

Descripción

Your main responsabilities:

Process Design

  • Drive the engineering design for large capex projects
  • Deliver conceptual design package and review basic and detail design.
  • Provide support to project teams at each phase of projects i.e. during design, vendor selection, FAT, commissioning and start up phases
  • Design and sizing of safety equipment

Standardisation

  • Accountable for standardized equipment
  • Update standards to be consistent and aligned with initiatives, programs and functional stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain the documentation repository
  • Liaise with functional stakeholders to ensure standards are applied to new projects

Innovation

  • Scout and identify innovations related to equipment, fostering step changes that improve operations and sustainability KPIs

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

Your professional profile includes

  • MSc in Chemical Engineering
  • Expertise in designing chemical plants
  • Expertise in process safety
  • Experience with process simulation software is required
  • 15+ years in manufacturing engineering or plant operations
  • Fluent English level. Knowledge of French and/or other languages would be beneficial
  • Experience in fine/speciality chemistry preferred
  • Capex Project Management experience (field) is a must
  • Experience with data analytics would be beneficial
  • LEAN/TPM/6 sigma certification, GMP, EHS certifications would be beneficial
