International manufacturer of technical equipment for the Railway sector is looking for a Global Business Development Manager to expand their client portfolio and open new markets globally.

Key responsibilities of the role are:
- Represent the company with a comprehensive understanding of its offerings.
- Research customer needs and identify how our solutions meet them.
- Generate leads, and build and nurture client relationships.
- Meet with potential customers and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs.
- Prepare and monitor bids requested by customers.
- Lead and coordinate bid with all areas involved in the bid preparation.
- Negotiate and close contracts with customers.
- Analyze and negotiate the different orders received, agreeing on the corresponding contractual conditions, as well as reviewing them with the departments affected by the offer request.
Perfil Buscado (H/M/D)
The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of the railway market and in global sales, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. We're seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others.
The successful candidate will have the following professional profile:
- University degree (Engineering preferred).
- Good level of written and spoken English (any other European language is a plus).
- At least 5-10 years of sales experience in the railway industry.
- International travel required (25-50%).
- Performance and result oriented.
- Proven ability to close contracts.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership, negotiation and analytic skills.
- Proficient with Office, CRM tools and knowledge of SAP.
