Finance Manager - Multinational Healthcare Company

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following responsibities:

• Oversees financial and accounting processes to ensure compliance with Corporate and local policies, statutory requirements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles/Standards and ethical standards with unyielding integrity. Drives compliance in all finance related matters (SOX, Statutory, monthly Closing).
• Develops and implements accounting policies, procedures and internal controls in support with business processes and decisions. Ensures all activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
• Anticipates financial needs of business partners; proactively develops financial solutions to those requirements.
• Identifies key financial issues; reports, interprets and translates them into terms meaningful to business partners and functional managers.
• Participates in cross-functional teams addressing alternate business practices.
• Implements and drives process improvements.
• Leads the Finance team, ensuring at least the required level of competencies for the roles and as a team are met. High attention to recruitment, performance, development and retention.
• Oversees month end close process to ensure timely close and financial reports preparation.
• Analyzes, interprets and reports operating results to local management and makes specific recommendations to achieve cost effectiveness and profit improvements.
• Oversees maintaining of all substantiation records for tax, assessing and making provision for tax payable, liaising with Corporate Tax on transfer pricing issues and to ensure audit compliance.
• Collaborates with Accounts Receivables team to manage Accounts Receivables.
• Oversees operational cash management and cash flow forecasting; bank administration, funds transfers and foreign exchange.
