We are seeking a seasoned and resilient Group Finance Director to lead the financial strategy and build scalable finance operations in a small but fast-growing international agribusiness considered a pioneer in its sector. This is a pivotal role for a pragmatic, hands-on leader with a proven track record in building and restructuring businesses, developing funding solutions, managing resources in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and interested in building an organization and company that is transforming the value chain of its sector.

The ideal candidate is not only experienced but also emotionally grounded - someone who thrives in small teams, and is as comfortable operating under demands of high profile investors as coaching all levels of collaborators.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership
• Develop and execute funding strategies (banking relationships, working capital and capex financing, subsidies).
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to sustain long-term business goals but also the potential swings of commodity cycles.
• Actively contribute to board-level discussions, shareholder interactions, and governance matters.
• Operational Excellence
• Build and professionalise finance processes and tools that are scalable yet pragmatic.
• Oversee cost control, working capital management, and financial reporting.
• Identify and implement cost structure and profitability improvements across the business.
• Problem-solving & Resilience
• Lead financial discipline and creativity in strategic investment projects, with a clear-eyed view of business realities.
• Equally comfortable at driving profitable growth as at cutting costs and implementing turnaround strategies to ensure financial sustainability.
• Team Leadership & Development
• Coach and develop a small finance team.
• Participate/lead multi-functional project teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational discipline
