The Data Quality & Governance specialist based in Madrid will have the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborates on business decisions to be made by local Sponsor per stream of the program
  • Needs to collaborate with local responsible per stream (Project manager, Finance local PM, Risk local PM, Business analyst/ Data Quality, IT local PM)
  • Needs to collaborate with Holding teams & other countries on data and ensuring proper data quality:

-agree on common data definitions (business rules, calculation methodologies, list of values, …),
-identify critical data,
-design data governance (roles & responsibilities) and data quality target operating models & framework (controls, data quality indicators, roles & responsibilities),
-documentation of the data dictionary & data quality framework locally,
-coordination of data quality remediation efforts at local level based on controls designed on critical data

Perfil Buscado (H/M/D)

The Data Quality & Governance specialist based in Madrid will jave the following responsibilities:

Main skills:

  • Knowledge expertise in financial and risk data sets (P&L, Balance Sheet, Capital, Supplier, Cash, Invoice, Tax, Risk and ESG)
  • Solid knowledge of data management principles and processes.
  • Relevant technical skills or knowledge with a broad set of data management and analytics techniques, processes, standards, best practices and technologies (including relational databases, data lakes, NoSQL databases, BI platforms, data movement, and data streaming) to manage and enhance Data Quality
  • Knowledge of SQL or equivalent database querying language is required.
  • Demonstrated experience translating functional business data rules and requirements into technical rules, rule specifications, mapping, and mapplets.
  • Strong ability and persistence to analyze business and technology requirements, hypothesize cause and effect relationships, model current and future state business processes, and solve complex, nuanced problems ranging from single applications to enterprise-wide
  • Strong communication skills in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Previous experience in Banking sector is mandatory

  • More than 10 years experience in similar roles in banking sector
  • Business School, Master's Degree is a plus
