Descripción

  • Support on strategic data protection projects ensuring compliance with data protection laws and other relevant regulations.
  • Oversee and organise the Data Protection Team day-to-day operations, reporting directly to the Data Protection Director.
  • Oversee the privacy program, ensuring that privacy policies, operational processes, and compliance initiatives align with applicable data protection laws.
  • Conduct privacy risk assessments (DPIAs, TIAs, LIAs) for new tools, systems and processes and evaluate risks before implementation, ensuring privacy-by-design principles.
  • Review and assess third‑party providers' data protection practices, ensuring they meet required privacy standards and contractual obligations.
  • Identify compliance gaps in existing policies and operational workflows and drive remediation plans in collaboration with our business stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance of privacy controls, KPIs and the effectiveness of privacy initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of compliance posture and remediation actions to support audit and regulatory readiness.
  • Design, update and optimise data protection policies and procedures, leveraging automation where possible to increase efficiency.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

  • Law Degree
  • 5+ years' experience in data protection/privacy law (in‑house or law firm).
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR; familiarity with global frameworks an advantage.
  • Experience conducting DPIAs, drafting policies, reviewing vendors, and applying privacy‑by‑
  • Experience coordinating or managing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
  • Professional certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages will be considered a plus
