We're looking for a Data Engineering Consultant - Freelance to support a 6-month implementation phase focused on Power BI, data modeling, and ETL processes.After this key period, the role transitions into a long-term freelance relationship for ongoing support and collaboration with stakeholders in both English and Spanish.

Descripción

  • Maintain and enhance existing Power BI dashboards and reports to meet evolving business needs.
  • Design and maintain robust data models that support analytics and reporting workflows.
  • Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient data flow into the data warehouse.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform regular data validation and cleansing to ensure high data quality and integrity.
  • Stay current with Power BI features and best practices to continuously improve BI capabilities.
  • Ability to provide training to local staff on Power BI and the data platform will be considered a strong plus.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Power BI, SQL, and ETL processes development.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or strong willingness to learn and adopt it quickly.
  • Relevant certifications (DP-600 or DP-700) are highly desirable.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory or other cloud-based ETL tools.
  • Understanding API usage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • English- and Spanish- speaking skills required to work closely with programme managers and local IT teams.
