Our client is an Energy services company specialized in the development, financing, and operation of Solar Photovoltaic plants (utility scale and self-consumption) throughout Spain.
We are looking for a Land Manager to help the client secure and further expand their pipeline of Solar PV self-consumption projects in Catalonia, Valencia, Aragon, and Balearic Islands. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Originate greenfield self-consumption opportunities among Commercial & Industrial (C&I) clients.
- Approach stakeholders and present the company and its PPA self-consumption business model.
- Coordinate techno-economic feasibility and financial modelling of leads.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals to clients.
- Negotiate PPAs with C&I clients, and lease/purchase agreements with property owners.
- Contribute to the development of new business propositions (i.e. collective self-consumption, Battery storage and microgrids, non-agricultural Solar).
Perfil Buscado (H/M/D)
- Highly motivated individual passionate about sustainability and the energy sector.
- Track record in business development with at least five years of experience in the energy sector or in Real Estate.
- Understanding of financial modelling and technical feasibility of Solar PV plants.
- Land development management experience with contacts in the specialized brokers.
- Technical education is a plus (engineering, real estate, etc).
- Strong negotiator with commercial acumen.
- Network among Commercial & Industrial clients.
- Fluent in Spanish and Catalan, English and other European languages is a plus.
- Possibility to travel on a weekly basis across Catalonia primarily but also Valencia, Aragon, and Balearic Islands. Monthly meetings in Madrid.
