This is an AP Manager role within a large services sector organization based in Madrid, operating at scale and with a strong focus on operational excellence. The position leads the Accounts Payable function, driving process optimization, automation, and transformation, while partnering with business teams to ensure efficiency, compliance, and scalability in a dynamic environment.

Descripción

  • Lead the accounts payable team, ensuring compliance with internal policies and processes.
  • Identify and recommend potential improvements / efficiencies in accounts payable cycle procedures. Implement technological solutions with the objective of optimizing cash flow management.
  • Ensure that all payments are made in accordance with established policies and in compliance with legal and fiscal requirements.
  • Management and supervision of the supplier homologation process.
  • Set and follow-up KPIs of the business to report performance regularly.
  • Prepare focused analysis and provide insights and story behind numbers into the key drivers of our financials results.
  • Partnering between the AP team and business areas to ensure that the finance team gets all the data required to ensure the correct performance of the accounts payable process.
  • Manage the relationship between Accounts Payable team and servicers.
  • Collaboration in external and internal auditing processes related to accounts payable, providing the necessary support and evidence.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar.
  • Strong accounting knowledge, especially related to accounts payable.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years working experience, and must have experience as AP Manager.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Fluent in English is a plus.
  • Strong experience in transformation and automation processes
