In the scope of client management:
knowledge of the particulars and needs of the assigned group, service proposal and development in conjunction with the rest of the Area. Negotiation of reinsurance conditions.
In the scope of special analysis: drawing up of market research, product development processes, etc.
In the scope of quotations: assessment of different competitors and calculation of their prices in accordance with the company's tools...
In the scope of liaison with the Area Manager of the Latin American business area: drawing up of scheduled routine reports. Accountancy incident handling and prognosis check-up. Joint collaboration on projects of common interest.
In the scope of administrative control: control of the contractual documentation and its record in the company's IT systems in the most time-efficient and resourceful manner. Appropriate account management.
Perfil buscado (h/m)
- At least 10 years of experience in an Actuary position within a Direct Life Insurance or Reinsurance company.
- Deep knowledge of the social and cultural Portuguese idiosyncrasy and the Portuguese insurance market.
-Desirable experience in the management of reinsurance contracts.
- Training: Degree in Actuarial Science.
- Languages: High level of Portuguese and English, knowledge of German would be desirable.
- IT /Tools Advanced user of Microsoft Office, primarily Word, Excel and Power Point. Desirable: knowledge of actuarial IT systems and Visual Basic.
- Personal Profile: Open-minded, proactive and organised person, capable of prioritising workload, and accustomed to working in a team.
Salary package based on the candidate experience.
